Default Will this heal??

Damaged Bubble Coral

I'm not sure how it happened, but there is tissue damage on my bubble coral. The septa in the center of the pic is exposed. I've read that bubble corals can recover from this kind of damage. Is this true?

I'd be concerned about a brown jelly infection, but I imagine it will heal.

Mine too. It just takes a while sometimes. One of mine it had many of those due to, ahem, improper shipping methods. Still around a year later, and all healed!

I kept mine in the shade for a while to help prvent algae growth. I dunno if that was the right thing to do or not, but food for thought.
