![]() I have a really bad case of brown algae, and can't afford to go spend anything on snails right now. If anyone can loan me a snail or two I'd really appreciate it. I'm in Calgary. Don't have a vehicle though. I might be able to pay a little bit if you'd take rolled change...

![]() You might not find any snails that will eat brown algea, your best bet would be to do some water changes and scrape off as much as you can.

![]() i've been doing 10% water changes every day for a week now. we have a scraper that does awesome on algae in our SW tank but it's barely touching this brown crap. it just doesn't want to come off. even the algae scraper sponge thing isn't working. i've reduced the lights to being on for 5 hours a day. no direct sunlight at all. i'll try that other link tomorrow. thanks.
