it's stays in one place, but looks like part of it is trying to dye off there are two clowns hosting in it also water movement is good and water tests are ok ph was 8.0 and now 8.3 no ammonia, nitrite, just some nitrate but I have did water change calcium is 400 So any ideas what could be causing this I am abit stumped please and thanks

![]() First off what do you mean by "some" nitrate? Really need a #. Also what light do you have this guy under. Sebae's IMO really need MH light to make them happy. I know someone is going to jump on here and say I have one under PC or VHO or T5 but IMO for these guys to really thrive they need MH lighting.
I have a very large Sebae anemone that I bought close to a year ago now from Bulletsworld that I have under 400W MH lighting and it has never moved from where I put it and has probably grown to about 20" across when it is smiling and happy which is most of the time. |

![]() If you haven't already, check out the "invertebrates" forum in the Reference Library and go in anemones. There's a tonne of information there about sebae anemones. Other than that, I'd keep a close eye on it and, obviously, if it starts to deteriorate, I'd get it out of there.

![]() How long have you had this Sebae? You said you had another one before, what happened to that one? Or is it still in the tank? If that's the case, he might be part of the problem depending on how big your tank is.
