How to upload a picture

Can someone help me? I don't know how to upload a picture to use beside my name in posts. I don't even know where to get these images that everyone has? And how long does it take before I can get rid of that "junior member" to just member.

Rich, go into your profile and click view/change profile. Near the bottom is the avatar field. If you have a pic you want to use, but it on your website and paste the URL into the avatar field.
No idea on the member status....

Rich, you need to have a website to host a picture of your choice if you don't like what has been provided to you. There are clear instructions on how to do so under the FAQ section.

I tried to use a picture from my web page but I don't know why it wouldn't work, so I guess this will do for now. Gotta go now as Donna and Eric are back 2gether on that 70's show.
