Default What is your favorite fish?

Either one that you currently have or one you wish you had. I thought about this for a while and can only narrow it down to 2. I have a Moorish Idol that I did not order but agreed to take and try and have had it now for just about a year. He has personality and will show up in just about every picture I take of that tank - his name is Elvis. My other favorite is a Goldflake Angel. Other than the 2 firefish he is the smallest fish in the tank but someone forgot to tell him that. He is plucky - right in the middle of the Nori free for all. The tank he is in also gets some direct sunlight and he just sparkles gold with a brilliant blue outline.
So what is yours?

Mine is the Moorish Idol too. I've also had one for almost 2 years before it outgrew my tank and is now in EmilyB's tank. I think she's had it longer than I have now. My next 2 favorites are Blue Ribbon eel and Pinnatus Batfish which I have not kept (And not planning to).

I'm with ya on the Moorish Idol...I had one ...then my Purple Tang chose to kill it after they had lived together for the entire time peacefully...it's part of why we started a salt water tank..I do love Porcupine Puffers too...they're so damn cute!

porcupine puffer or vol. lionfish, the reason I started a saltwater tank was because I wanted a nice big lionfish...well, still no lionfish...or even a tank big enough to put one in...

I dunno, as lame as it's going to sound , the true percula clownfish is what won me over. I still find them to be some of the most beautiful , peaceful, hardy, fish .. I love my clownfish. If not a clownfish then a mandarin goby would be my second... can't beat those colours, and the way they swim.. too cool.

There are just too many cool fish that I don't have to pick a favorite. If I were to chose one of my current fish it would be my reagal tang.....today, because he thinks he's a clown and tries to host my Seabae anemone.

Yup, me too. Regal Tang gets along with everybody, swims around showboatin' and eats like a pig! He's the first successful one I've had, definately a keeper! Although I just got a nice big blonde naso, but we'll see when he's actually in the main tank
