![]() I have a PCL-650 that I haven't been running all year round. I just got it last year, ran it for when I needed it then flushed it with FW and shut it down for the winter. Really I only need it for a couple weeks in the summer mostly. I hooked it up today because I was bored. So I was thinking (as a bunch of orange metally bits came out of it when I flushed it again today
![]() - do you leave them hooked up permanently? (ie. water flowing through them but power off) -do you leave them hooked up with power on permanently (I suppose if you don't have temperature problems it just doesn't turn on?) I was sort of worried about the hydro bill as my roommate and I split it and I figured if I only used it for the really hot days it would make it cheaper (yes I'm learning that cheaper isn't always better ![]() Any input would be much appreciated. TIA, Christy ![]()
