Birch Stand & Canopy

I'm thinking of having Danny (Wai's) build me a stand and canopy out of Birch, anyone know if he does good work?, before I decide I asked him to get me some pictures cause I'm not really sure if I've ever seen one built from birch, I don't think there is much grain in birch so with just a lacquer over it I'm wondering if it would look kinda dull.

Anyone have pictures of a birch stand?

Well, I don't have pictures of a birch stand but I think birch is a nice wood. I'd certainly consider a stand made out of it. Should be pretty sharp. FWIW, (IPD,BI)HTH(A).(*)
