![]() Hi guys,
I'm gonna purchase a metal halide pendant for my tank, but I'm wondering if I should go with the 150W or 250W...and also the 14K or 20K HQI bulbs. My tank's a 25 gallon 24 x 12 x 18(tall). Might switch to a 24" cube or 18" cube. Does anyone know what the volume in gallons is for these tanks? Much appreciated. |

![]() I would go 250w if your current tank is 18" tall, and especially if you might go taller in the future.

![]() I've got a 175Watt 10K over my 20 gallon Hex. The tank is nearly 20" deep and have no trouble keeping SPS or clams.

![]() That's kewl. I finally picked up a 150W from Ocean Aquatics. I cannot believe I beared with PC's for that long. It really makes the tank look like a reef...the contrasts are just deeper...and the shimmer effect...that's priceless.
