I think the rating is a little out to lunch.

Yup, especially since it's only an 800 gph pump on it so saying it can handle a 520 gallon tank is like PrismPro's claim that it is good for up to 300 g. I guess if there were no fish in a 520g then it might work but what's the point.

Go to RC, equipment section, look for the thread on the jebo 520. Everything you can ask is answered there. The 520's are actually a decent skimmer.

I've got one of the Jebo 182's (sold at ocean's here in calgary), other than the pump sucking arse (replaced it with a hagen 110), and some minor Quality control issues, it's actually a fairly decent skimmer.

Be careful, he wants $55 US for shipping to canada, that's almost the same cost as the skimmer itself.

That skimmer looks just like the ASM mini with a crappier pump....

Thumbs down

Don't deal with id=buyersolution on Ebay. I won an auction, paid, he never sent the item and then proceeded to file an unpaid item complaint after I filed with Paypal.

I ended up going with an Octopus RPS-3000, which is also getting some good reviews on RC.
