Default Just got a Turret Cowfish and its not eating...

I just recently got a Turret Cowfish ,Tetrosomus gibbosus, whatever you want to call it. It will get food in its mouth then spit out half. So far I have tried mysis shrimp, bloodworms, krill, various flakes and silver sides. What would you recomend or is it just that its in a new tank? Either way it has got to be the coolest fish ever.

Matt

Matt,

how big is the cowfish?

There are bottom feeders mostly unless taught to be fed above. Do you notice it blows the sand bed? Or is it just hiding all the time? Does it look like its interested in food?

How many days has it been since it hasn't eaten?

Sorry I took so long to respond. Yes I have seen it blow on the sandbed and also bite the live rock. It is interested in the food but doesnt swallow it. Doesnt hide and is very curious. Its been about six days since it hasnt eaten.

Sorry for the blurry picture.
