Default mysis shrimp and skimmer bubbles?

I noticed that when I fees mysis shrimp to the tank, the skimmer stops producing bubbles. I would have figured it would do the oppisite. Anyone else notice this? I wonder why it does.????

yah happens everytime you feed frozzen food, and others. Also when you put your hand in the tank will stop your skimmer from producing foam, the oils from your skin do it. the oils, and fats, lower the surface tension, which causes the loss of skimming. Then after about an hour it starts foaming properly again

Pretty incredable how fast the skimmer reacts to it.
