Signature lines on other forums

To try and increase our exposure to the other boards would any of you be interested in putting the following in your signature lines?

Take out the space after the first bracket when you put it in your signature.

The more people we have posting and such here the better this board will be.

in the nicest kindest manner i can muster, i would like to ask, only because i'm curious, what the purpose is of trying to exponentially increase the exposure of the board? it seems to me it would only increase costs which increases the burden on titus. ftr, i don't have an opinion on this either way, i'm just curious. shane

Shane, I would guess with the online store coming up and the commercial ventures of the sponsors, more exposure is good. I would also guess that the cost of running a greater volume site is expected to be compensated with increased revenue from the store and attracting more sponsors. But that's just me guessing [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

By increasing the number of postes to the board we are hoping to get a larger spectrum of people able to answer questions, share advice and things they have learned.

Basically expand the knowledge base. Why limit yourself to a small group when there is more available. Hopefully in time we will have a sufficiently large enough userbase that more sponsorship will be possible to ease the finiancial burden.

Brad hit it on the head.. in addition to the larger knowledge base. You can't have too much available information.

Darren, I am doing it for the reasons you just mentioned. If it gets to commercial, I would feel, I would have to remove it from my signature, as it would be advertising a commercial product on another commercial board. Yes, No?
