![]() My regal tang has developed some strange yet entertaining behavior. He swims to the water surface, grabs a gulp of air, swims back to the bottom and releases the bubbles. He does this in the evenings over and over. Its fun to watch but I can't help to wonder if there is another reason for it?

![]() Mine does the same thing and every so often just to keep me on my feet he will also make a big splash with his tail while he is up these gulping air. If I happen to be sitting at the computor beside the tank it is not unusual for me to get splashed (and startled).
Mine sleeps totally upsidedown between a rock and my overflow. All you can see is his yellow tail sticking up in the air. |

![]() All this makes me want to get a tang even more, but I don't want the tang police coming after me for having one in a 36" long tank.
Just something more exciting than my maroon clown who never leaves his BTA. |
