tempered vs regular glass...
I am getting a piece of glass cut to fit in my canopy.... it will be about 2" below my 2" 250W DE bulbs... the span will be 12 7/8" x 48" does anyone have any advice if tempered glass would be better?safer I am lokking at 3mm glass

Definatley Tempered will be stronger........ but before going 3mm........ I would go to a store that has these fixtures and check out how thick of a piece of glass they use.
