Default re: the Big Move

Well, this is the weekend of the big move.

Transferred all my fish out of my 100g fowlr into the 160g fowlr that hopefully is cycled enough for the massive influx of bioload. Transferred another 40 lbs of LR & their old crushed coral bed, the Eheim Pro II & a Mag250 micron filter over. Have a Tunze 6060 & Seio 1500 for circulation.

Tomorrow, if the fish are ok, it'll be the corals & inverts & smaller fish's turn to go into the new 110g reef tank at the new place. They'll go for one day without lights but I'm turning on the MH lights all night so they'll be in their night cycle tomorrow when I bag & move them (hopefully). One lightless 24 hour period should not do much harm (praying emoticon) & then I'll have the MH system up & running on Sunday morning.

Hopefully I'll be able to avoid some of the disasters I've read about lately with other reefers' moves.

Any comments or words of advice is appreciated.

Will have several Canreefers here to help, which we will be eternally grateful for.

Anthony

Good luck with your move Anthony. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Can't wait to see your tanks all set up.

Cheers

Good luck, Anthony. If there is any power in wishful thinking the move will go perfectly, just because of me

With Anthony preoccupied with the move there are likely some deals out there where we have a chance to get them.

Good Luck on the move!!

As you never called I assume you have more help than you need.
