my mag 7 pump seems to run fine, but the second my AC unit cuts in or my vacum cleaner it starts doing this clunking sound in short burts....anyone have a similar problem? is it the pump is just struggling for power????

Sounds like it to me. Have you checked the impeller??

nope havnt checked the impeller because the pump is not even a week old.....it seems to run good other then when the AC or vacum turn on....i dont know, maybe my bedroom is sucking to much power...who knows....

well if its only a week old I'd be looking into plugging the pump into a different circuit than your vaccuum cleaner/AC unit
