Default Babies coming?

Well....... I just wanted to update those who have inquired about my bangaiis breeding. My bangaiis have been breeding regularly in the main display tank for the past few months with no survivors to date. They had just released a brood a week ago of which I only have six healthy survivors out of the 15 that I had caught. Its not very fun feeding them (hatching baby brine) but its fun watching them because they are just so neat resembling an adult bangaii so soon.
I had moved the female into my sump about 3 weeks ago and I've finally been able to catch the male after releasing the last brood. When I put the male with the female, she was all over him wanting to do the wild thing but he was still shock from the move that he just wasn't "up" for it. It took about a week and after feeding them 3x a day with mysis that the male finally got "up" the courage and danced. I took a picture of the two as they were courting and the below picture clearly shows the female's reproductive organ protruding and red. I've circled it with a red circle in the picture for those who are wondering if their bangaiis are really doing the wild thing. The male's jaw is now extending with it holding another brood of eggs. Picture is not the greatest but you can see "it"

More fish porn? Hmmmm. I think I started a bad trend You should post a pic of the babies. They are soooooo cute. Irene will freak if we can breed Bangaiis in the future, especially with a long spine urchin for the cool symbiotic relationship thing.

For those who don't know, Chin's wife is expecting their baby tomorrow. Congrats in advance my friend.

Anthony

I just moved my pair of bangaiis and their long spine urchin into the 45g so we will see how it goes.

Our last pair we had in the main tank continually had babies, of course most got eaten, but several would end up in the sump/overflow from time to time.
