Default Final question for computer geeks

Is there a way to send a computer's video output wirelessly to a monitor that is placed 15 or 20 feet away?

I want access to my computer from two separate rooms. Instead of setting up two separate computers linked by a network, I was hoping I could use a wireless keyboard and mouse from the other room, if there is a way to have a remotely placed monitor as well.

You will need to have a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse to reach much farther than 6-8 feet that standard ones are workable to. Not sure about the video though, but I'm sure anything is doable with the appropriate infusion of cash. Perhaps a laptop and a wireless router are in order.

I don't think bluetooth has a range that will suffice your needs.

Bluetooth has a theoretical range of up to about 30 feet. That of course can be reduced by walls, floors, furniture, etc. blocking the signal. It would not be able to hadle the complex video signal though, its too slow for the amount of info that would need to be sent. That would require $ome other $ort of technology.

Yes there is a way BUT you'll be spending less if you just setup 2 computer.

you can get wireless audio/video sender... i tried the one from radio shack, but it didnt work very good. of course there are better professional grade stuff, but probably cost more than getting a second pc.
