I was wondering if anyone has ever bought, Giesemann-- Aqua Medic-- Aquaspacelight--Sunlight Supply, Lights? I know there not cheap, but I was thinking of maybe getting one, But the big question is being in a solid fixture has there been any problems with any of the above. If anyone can give me any advise would be great.

Which Sunlight Supply setup are you looking at? The Marinestar? The Tek Light?

I run a Reef Optix 3+ pendant. Looks nice, and from what I have read, it has one of the most efficient reflectors for DE bulbs.

I was looking at the MarineStar. I have looked at so much I dont know witch is the best lasting or quality, at theses prices, I would like to only do this once. I need something that looks good and works well, if that possible. I would like to also buy in Canada , I'm tried of the hidden costs.BTW I'm looking at 72" fixture.

i know im saving my money for a geisemann rig. from everything ive heard and read its one of the best fixtures out there.

Damm Fine Willow, you see the price on the moonlight fixture $5499.00, I was thinking of picking up the 72" eco fixture $1675.00. Tell me what do you guys think of using 3-250watt 13000k-de bulbs? Thats all it comes with, not like the moonlight its got everything, but I need my right arm.

We bought a used Aquaspacelight.

There are no fans in this unit, keep in mind the ballasts and everything are in there. HOT. Some of the ballasts, igniters burned up, we did some mods and now run the fixture with external PFO ballasts.

Hopefully the new designs are different.

yeah im not rich enough for the moonlight version that simulates "cloud cover". im going for the 48" eco with 2x250 watt. the bulbs are very nice crispy white without a lot of blue. i really like the t5's, cheaper bulbs and only 54watts each. the cabling system is easy to adjust up and down which is nice. the ballasts are super loud when they click on which is a little scary if your not ready for it.

Just bought an aqua medic for my 135Gal 3 250hqi 10000k and 2 150 20000k nice light. little hum to it but get use to it. price was great 1200us to leduc Plus 175 duty. now if i could get the tank home from the guy i bought it from things would be great.
geisemann rig seem to much money for what you get.
