Why is it that there aren't any 400W double ended MH bulbs yet? I'm sure they exist or can be made. We have the technology, we can build it.

PFO makes a 400W DE Bulb and fixtures.

There are only 2 makers of DE 400W as far as I know. They came out late last year sometime. There's also an article out there by Sanjay Joshi about them.

Very interesting. Pretty similar to the tests on a single ended MH bulb and a DE MH bulb. There is a difference but it is minimal.

J&L has a 400W double ended bulb listed now.... I wonder what it is like..
