Default 130gal setup for sale in Edmonton

Hello all,

Well, I've made the tough decision to sell my tank....it's time right now. I'm sure down the road I'll get back into it, but for now it's not getting the attention it deserves.

I do not want to part it out.

So, the details...

130gal non drilled tank but has an overflow converter on it.
25 gal (?) sump
3 power heads (4th one died, but it's still here)
UV Sterilizer
protein skimmer - nothing fancy
2x400W Metal hallides
misc stuff too
LOTS of liverock
approx. 6 bags of sugar sized aragonite (sp?)

Stock:
1 tomato clown
2 Anthians
1 red corris wrasse
1 neon goby (cleans great!)
1 copperband butterfly - eats aptasia!
1 Blue mandarin Goby (my absolute fav!)
1 large black spiny urchin
1 green brittle starfish
misc snails - not many
misc hermits - not many
1 large bta (tomato loves it!)

I'm probably forgetting something....

Tank is 6 feet x foot and a half x foot and a half
wood stand
no canopy

I don't know how to post pics, so if you're interested email me and I can send you some. Please send enquiries to LBrecknock@Shaw.ca

This would have to be picked up as I don't have a truck.

Thanks,
Lindy

Hey Lindy,

Sorry to hear that my reef neighbor is getting out of the hobby! You're the only one within walking distance!

Anyway, I don't want to jack your thread, but I do have a quick question:
How many watts is the UV?

You know, I thought about asking what you'd charge to look after it for me....but I think it's just best to sell for now. I may have to pop over once in a while to get my fix!

The UV, honestly I'm not sure.....I forget.
It's from Aquarium Illusions

Lifeguard UV Sterilizer
Rainbow lifeguard aquatics
Model QL-25
Hope that helps.

You are welcome by any time you like! You haven't seen the new tank yet.

BTW the UV is 25W. If you need help breaking down the system or anything, let me know.

why don't you want to part? From what I've seen on this board a tank will sell quicker parted out. I saw three or four things on that list I would be interested in myself. Just curious

I don't want to get stuck with any leftovers.....and I think it would be a lot more work to part it out.

But, if I did....what would you be interested in?

I'd be interested in all of the snails...maybe the UV. How old is that UV bulb?

Sorry to hear that you're getting out of the hobby. Like you said though, I'm sure you'll get back into it eventually, the hobby is like a disease

What kind of return pump are you running?

Would you have any extra 400w bulbs kicking around?
I don't want you to part out the whole light package
