![]() Actually it is a fish cam. It is located in front of the Harbour Village Beach Club in Bonaire. It is a PTZ camera and occasionally moves to various presets so you never get bored watching it. Lots and lots of pretty fish!
Can't wait to get back to Bonaire for New Years! |

![]() There is not a lot of options to get there. Most flights connect through Houston, Newark or Atlanta. From Calgary we fly via Houston. Oh yes, and KLM flies direct almost every day from Amsterdam if you want to go the long way.
![]() Bonaire is all about diving and snorkeling because you can do it all from the shore. Your dive boat is a 4 door rental truck. This our third trip and we are staying at we are staying at Beachcomber Villas for the third time. If you decide to go, be aware that petty crime is a problem on the island, and you need to choose your accommodations wisely and be careful of what you leave in your vehicle. Inspite of all that, you can't beat it for an affordable and great destination for diving. If you are not a diver or snorkeler, you should go somewhere else. |

![]() Thanks Treebeard
I am both a diver and snorkeler. Depending on how cheap I am at the time. I have always wanted to go to Bonaire, but thought that it was such a convoluted way to fly. Now you have shed some light. I will check out your links. Anything to do for the non swimming spouse? Ty |

![]() You can spend a day touring around Washington Slagbaii National Park.
Or spend an afternoon on a sandy beach south of kralendijk and watch the kite boarders. Or do the kayak tour of the Mangrove forests. Check out the Donkey Santuary. Take the water taxi to Klein Bonaire. Perhaps some caving, something we have not done yet. Most of these activities are probably best done with your spouse, but diving in Bonaire is so easy, you can get 2 or 3 dives in by lunchtime and have the afternoons free to enjoy with your non-diving spouse.
