I once tried following all the rules with the right marine mud substrate but nothing grew.

I now have a 75 gallon refugium below my display tank with chaeto algae which I do find a little too successful in keeping down my no3 and po4.

Yeah I think growing seagrass can be pretty hard. Not to mention integrating it into a reef system. Always new challenges in this hobby.
