Could be any number of things. Describe your tank (including parameters) in detail and let the experts help you out.

i'm sure you already have done this many times, so just confim your nh4, no3, no2, sg, pH is where it's supposed to be. when was the last time you changed water

i found out stray voltage was the silent killer for mine. I had my tank on the second level floor, so whenever I was in the water, I didn't get zapped because I was not grounded so I didn't notice it. When I moved and put my tank in the basement, I was properly grounded and ZOIKS! This explained my melting colals and dying anemones (1 sebae, 1 BTA). since then (july) my plate has almost doubled and my yellow tangs HLLE has almost disappeared. IMO a grounding probe is not the answer, eliminating the problem by replacing the problem is the answer. (edit: I eliminated this problem by moving my mag9.5 out of the sump and constructed a closed loop system so the mag was being run externally, I eventually replaced the mag with a larger one)

a little more in depth could be lighting and waterflow too-- in my short experience most things grow better where there is a strong flow of random direction and lots of light.

I'm far from an "expert" but these are merely things to ponder with a few solutions that have worked for -me-.

Yup, we'll need way more info, particularly what type of anemones you're trying to keep
