![]() I've got 3 Sun Aquatics 250W SE Metal Halide bulbs. Two are 10K and the other one is 14K. My question is which magnetic ballasts to use with these bulbs. I was looking at getting electronic ballasts and wanted to price out regular ballasts to see what the cost difference would be.
Thanks John |

![]() thanks for the reply Harvey. Anyone else? Do i just ask for a 250W M58 or M138 ballast at the electrical suppliers or are they going to give me a "what are you talking about" look.

![]() I would stay away from the 58, if you are going to buy a ballast at least get the M138 (pulse start) or go with the M80 (HQI) the HQI will cost about 30ish more but worth it in payback in light out put.
