![]() Help my lps corals are melting away very quickly Saturday night my torch coral melted away almost over night. Yesterday all looked good got home from work tonight my frogspawn has done the same thing. Water parameters are as follows Ammonia less then 0.1,nitrites show 0,nitrates 20, kh150,phosphates 0 or very close to it,calcium 440. I still have a bubble coral and an elegance that I don't want to lose. Any help greatly appreciated Larry

![]() One mistake I made is not feeding my LPS. Some can survive without target feeding but if you do they will be healthier. When they are only surviving on UV they aren't as healthy. If the LPS looked ok but really was borderline and exposed to RTN it might just be to much....
RTN in a tank isn't good and is known to spread quickly - hence the name... If a coral is dying toss it - don't try to save it. Unless you can frag it to try to save it. Toss the RTN part!!!! |

![]() Yeah. I have had hammer and frogspawns loose heads due to low Mg. Also I believe that there is a strain of bacteria that can cause LPS issues.

![]() 150 is ppm , just multiply by 0.056 to get DKH. 150ppm = 8.4dkh
