Default Should I stick with 250's for the LPS

Here is my problem folks I have been talking with Doug on this about my lighting the 96x24x24 will house 4 MH for my LPS and softie tank along with some Squamosa that i have.

I currently have 2x400's over the tank or will be when I do the switch.

Im looking at either
all 250's 4x250's
Or all 175's

Bulb choices and ability to have SPS later if you want. 250 all the way!

Iwasaki 14K 175's beat many 250's in PAR.

With some good reflectors they should work quite well.

Cheers,
Vic

Of course bulb costs are higher then and no power savings as more wattage than four 250,s.

If you run the new SE Phoenix or something, then no supplemental needed.

I miss my Iwasaki "par busters"...unbelievable light on electronic ballasts.

I hate how my phoenix look alone...
had to add 4X110w VHOs to it....
