My Chalice coral has suddenly inflated its tissue. Alot.
I've had it for a few months now ,its been doing fine and eating well ,and then BOOM !! ,this happens. Pictures with and without flash: ![]() ![]() |

that's interesting.
I don't really know much about this. Maybe this is peace of mind... I bought a frag of (what the shop called) alien eye chalice Sept 14th. It always had this more fleshy appearance than my other chalices. I just thought, hey, even if mis-named by shop owner... I like the colours and can heal/grow this frag. To this day, it still has this fleshy appearance but seems fine. ![]() |

Based on observing my Chalices I'd say it is probably happy and healthy. Mine expand and deflate on a regular basis but just like other LPS seem to be inflated and puffy when they are content.
