![]() I have noticed a few raised red scales on my blue faced angelfish. I am guessing flukes but I did a 5 day prazipro treatment before I moved them to there temp holding tank. Is it flukes or something else?

![]() It does look like some kind of parasites, fluke or something else. have you tried a fresh water dip to see if anything falling out? Also for treatment using prazipro, you need to do it 2 rounds. The first round kills the living parasites. The second round kills the second generation that hatches from eggs after the first round. Prazipro doesn't affect eggs.

![]() I didnt think I would need a second round going to a different tank, but I will after the copper treatment is done.
I just finished doing a 10 min fresh water dip on him and my french angel who has also been breathing hard. Nothing came off in the dip that looked like flukes but any were there was a rasied scale there is now a bloody spot so something is going on... and the copper isnt gonna help with the open wounds on him now
