smelly algie on top of my water
within the last two weeks i have noticed a smelly gross algie settling on top of my water i can put my hand in the tank and pull it out and its coverd in this crap has any one else every had this before???

You need more flow to break the surface tension that the algae is binding to. Point a Powerhead up towards the surface, your skimmer and mechanical filtration will take care of it.
