Around here, $3/lb and up is standard from fellow reefers and way more in the LFS. I thought Edmonton sw stuff was more expensive than in Vancouver/Burnaby.

FYI I've found those deals before ($2/lb) but the 3 times in the past 4 years when I saw those deals, I asked why so cheep? and it was because the rock was covered in either aptasia or majano's or hair algae.

![]() 2.00 in Edmonton is very rare 4,5 is more likely. Good luck with your hunt. You could add some base rock to help with your costs and it will seed quickly with the live rock you get.
