Default GFO or HC GFO

Good day everyone

Out of curiosity i will let most of you decide for me.

What do you use in your systemGFO or HC GFO
Which product do you prefer the most compare quality and price range difference.
Reason for asking,I am not sure if i should carry both GFO(AS I ALWAYS AM INTERESTED IN ONLY CARRYING THE PUREST PRODUCT AVAILABLE) or go with what most people prefer the most.
Any input would be most appreciated and its for our reefs.

Things I know from the manufacturer point of view.

GFO

-GFO pellet form has a little dust
-Tends to break easily by tumbling in time.
-Has a great surface area for phosphate removal
-Light weight per volume of pellet
-Light color
-No future manufacturing (a roomer)

HC GFO

-More dense than GFO
-Removes twice the phosphates as GFO
-Tumbles in the reactor with no clumping and breaking
-Pricier
-Darker coloration
-Twice the surface area
-Available with regeneration recipe

There are other GFO out there being sold to aquarists that turns into mud, with very low surface area, high priced, labeled as high quality and is low in ferric oxide as its mined from a poorer areas (as i am a distributor for other products (chemicals) we always receive stock consumer and distributor reports on manufacturers.

I would be more interested in the HC GFO myself but as far as feedback goes, I had never tried your product so it is hard to say.

I have tried BRS GFO and HC GFO. As far as regenerating GFO the HC GFO works well where the regular BRS granular does not regerate well (it turns to mud).

As far as I am concerned HC GFO or pellet GFO I carry its the exsact product as BRS.
If you are interested in doing comparison and placing a review let me know as I could send you a sample.
I will be offering a sample for some folks here in Calgary to do some comparison as well simply to show folks here on canreef what quality of product I carry.
