Default Another 26 Bowfront

I thought I would post pics of the stand and canopy I made for a 26 bowfront. Dont laugh at the tank, the level is low and it is being used as a feeder fish tank to keep my stone fish satisfied... It will soon be a very well stocked reef

I was looking at your other pics and wondered what the mod on the prizm is all about.

That's an awesome bow, I think that I'd like to work on a canopy and stand like that, it'll just take some time

I wish you the best... lol. you would think that with a mild bow it would be easy to curve some 1/8" maple for the front, ha, ha, yeah right.... had to turn the bathroom into a shower/sweat box to curve all the pieces....30 band clamps later... but i like the final product, so it was worth it

If you used a couple of layers of 1/16" sheet, then put on a wood veneer, it would be alot easier and look the same

that's pretty much what I was thinking, or use the 1/8th and just run it over the table saw and cut some ridges in the back side to weaken it a bit.

Stand and canopy look amazing!!

Seriously, that is one nice piece of work - very professional looking.

I could never make a product like that

thank you
if it was for a customer i would have used nicer trim, but I was making it for personal use on a budget, its not too bad with the black trim, I wanted stained wood trim though...
