I have a SWC Extreme 200 on a 120 with a similar amount of water in my sump. I am very happy with it, it has been great for the amount of money I have spent on it. It would be alot less than $ 500 if I remember correctly.

I know little about the SWC skimmers, but people seem to be talking about them lots. The EuroReef has been a staple skimmer for years, with the Vertex being a cheaper (albeit great) knock-off.
