Default Reef Rock Review

So I ordered a 50lbs box of the Reef Rock from the Eco-Reefer website and thought I would do a quick review on the rock I received. Let me start out by saying before I purchased the rock I e-mailed the Eco-Reefer website about my interest and received an e-mail back from Torsten within half an hour (yes, half an hour). Impressive actually as I e-mailed him late in the day. I basically stated I was looking into the rock for 2 nano tanks (a 40 gal breeder and 20 gal reg tank) and wanted to know what type of pieces I would receive.

To my surprise Torsten emailed me right back and recommend 3-5lb pieces that are as porous as possible. Perfect so I placed my order late that night and waited. The rock took a week from the time I ordered it to the time it arrived at my house. and here is how it showed up.

Smudge sorry accidently submitted the page before I was finished.

To continue, opened up the box to see this

And here is what it looked like outside of the box

There was a little rubble in the bottom of the box (thanks Canada Post) but I'm not surprised as I did see the mail man drop the box twice!

Overall I'm supper happy with the rock I received. It is supper porous and can be placed into so many different rock scapes. Customer service was also a huge plus.

Thanks Torsten.

Looks good, hopefully I will be just as happy with the 3 boxes I ordered.
