Default Hitchhiker snail ID please

I have a little hitch hiker... a rather nasty looking snail...

it was hiding during the day it looks like.. came out at night, and looked like it was eating algae off the glass...

anyone have any idea what this is?

Looks like a Ring Cowrie. Cool hitchhiker. You normally have to pay for them. I have several in my tank, they are great algae eaters! There are other cowries that don't have the ring...most are reef safe, but the odd one is predatory.
