High TDS
Just upgraded my membrane from 50gpd, to 75gpd along with restrictor. I run DI. but I can't get a 0 TDS. DI is colour changing and still shows half good, it is the same DI that was in when I had my 50 membrane. But now I'm getting a TDS of 004. I always got a reading of 0 with my 50gpd. Not sure why I can't get back there. i should add I flush my membrane 5min once a week.
If you have any suggestions would be great. Thanks |

Nigel 50 is the most conservative membrane out there it will have the best ratio the others membrane s will have more of waste and force more water through. I had the same deal with my 100gpd one

Yea but he should still be getting 0 from his resin. Even with the problems I had recently with the restrictor, I still got 0ppm from the resin. I can put out double numbers from my membrane and 0 from the DI still.
Sound like a resin problem to me.

I was under the impression that the 50,75, have the same rejection rate and are your best bang for buck, and that the 100gpd has the poorest rejection rate. Is that right? If the 50 is better I might go back.
