Well did a large water change today to help with the aptaisia problem and thought to finally take a pic of the Derasa from above.

Check out the aptaisia on the side and youll recognize the problems! The sand really does look cleaner in real life though!

Yeah, even the wife is getting peeved about it! She went through the entire tank with kalk paste the other day. We're so desperate that I did a larger than normal water change just in case there were bits and pieces of aptaisia floating around!

If anyone sees a CBB in their travels through Vancouver please let me know! Once J&L is finished their move then we will probably pick up a couple of their Peppermint shrimp and put them in the QT tank and then rotate rock through there. Unfortunately they only have small ones which would get taken out by the Hawkfish and Blennie.
