Gackk!!
WARNING! Never drink calcium chloride!
I dose calcium with an Aqua Medic SP 3000 and for some reason this morning it was struggling. I figured maybe a bit of calcification was blocking the tubing so I gave a mighty suck on the tube thinking it was empty. Nope. Gotta small mouthful of the most bitter stuff I've ever tasted.

Gross! At least you'll have strong bones
 I usually "pinch" my way down the line with my thumb and finger, breaking up any hard bits to send them on their way through the tube.

You think CaCl tastes bad, wait 'til you try the Alk part of the 2-part dosing.
(Same thing happened to me except with the Alk line.  For whatever reason my CaCl additive never clogs but the Alk line is always gumming up on me..)
