Default LF 1 1/2 id gate or ball valve Calgary

I need a valve for my return hose. It is tigerflex f42m hose. My best guess with tape is 1.9 od. I bought the tank used and there was no valve on return, it has a corner overflow and sounds like a sink draining all the time. I believe all I need is a valve to adjust the level in the overflow to quiet it down.

What is the ID? Maybe its a 1.5" valve you are after. I think the OD of 1.5" PVC is around 1.9" Also, how many holes are drilled for your drains? If you are going to restrict the flow of one to raise the level in your overflow you should have another standpipe there as an emergency.

It has an emergency pipe in overflow, I just measured it again and id is like 1 5/8 inch ond od is around 1 7\8. It is a flex pipe so it might be a little off depending where it is cut......
