![]() 1. How do you post those different faces in your thread like the mrgreen etc.... I've tried clicking an icon but it never shows up in the thread.
2. How do you change the title of your thread (eg. some people edit the title and say - NEW PICTURES ADDED) 3. How to you make a link (eg. CLICK here to see my tank) 4. How do you include a video in your thread? Sorry, I'm quite technically challenged. It took being on the board for about 6 months before figuring out how to post pictures. Thanks in advance. ![]() 2. You have to go to your very first post of the thread (post #1) and edit that post, then click on the "Go Advanced" option. That will bring up the post to edit with the title available for editing. 3. At the top of your edit window (when making a post), one of the icons looks like a globe with a link/figure 8/paperclip under it. 3 icons left of the link that allows you to link in an image? With your mouse/cursor, select some word(s) that you would like to be your link, then click on that link icon (the globe with the funny paperclip thing under it. A dialog box will appear allowing you to enter a web address. Once you're done [ URL ] tags will surround the word(s) that will be your link |

![]() to get to the faces and other you have to start a post and go to the advanced button at the bottom of the page there you can do the faces right at the bottom of the post. Below that there is additional Options this is where you can add an attachment. Push the manage attachments button. Apopup box will pop up this will enable you upload and attachment from your computer this is the top area. the next area is where you can upload a file from a url.
To do this you have to have a web hosting provider or a web site that lets you store stuff on their web server some thing like photo bucket. Alot of service providers will give you a bit of web space to store stuff on or build a web page on. you may have to get them to turn it on or you may have to turn it on your self by loging on to your account and finding the web space area. I hope this helps a bit, there are may that can help you out so keep posted. Bill |

![]() If you use photobucket, they give you the img and url tags for embedding photos and videos, which is nice, all you do is copy and paste.
Not sure why the smilies window doesn't show up for you, offhand the only thing I can think to suggest to check is if you have popups blocked .. but if you did then you'd probably have trouble with PM's too so I'm not sure what could be up with that one.

![]() In the reply window, there are a few icons... if you mouse over them, they tell you what they do, just hover the mouse over them. There is one for insert link, insert image, etc. down the row...

Type the "Click here to see my tank" or whatever you want to use as the link. Copy the url of the destination you want people to go to. (In this case I linked to your Tank Journal Thread) highlight the words you want to create into a link and press the ![]() Not sure on the video. Have never tried. If I figure it out I will let you know though. ![]() |
