I've built (well still going if I'm honest) this one for my 75G upgrade. I've still to do the doors yet (that's what the wood inside is for) because though I reckon a working skimmer and sump is a fine thing to behold, the wife doesn't. So not complete but you get the idea...
It is 51" end to end, 24 1/2" front to back and 3 ft high, but could be built pretty much any size.. Oh yes, and it weighs a ton!
It's mostly made of multiple layers of 3/4" plywood (ends have a 1/2" maple faced layer on the outside for looks) and a hard white maple frame across the front. The load from the top is carried to the sides by a 4 1/2" by 5" box beam front and back (the back forms part of the back beam) made of 3/4 ply too.
I had the same problem finding a design for one because I wanted it to look like an ordinary cabinet and the sump/skimmer had to be hidden, so I had to use mu brain for once and come up with one from scratch.. I could redraw the plan with all the modifications I made in the build process and post them if you are interested..
After all it's about time I put something back after all the advice I've got from here
