macro lens needed(leduc/edmonton)
I stopped at blue world on the way home today and got a nice pink softie, "christmas coral" of some kind.
Now that it is in my tank i have found a neat little hitchhiker on it, pink, matching the coral, slightly different color pattern than the coral. I wondered if anyone would lend me a macro lens that fits my d200 or come try to take a picture of it so I can try to get an identification on it? i tried with the macro on my point and shoot but it is not strong enough to get a good picture of. thought i saw a micro sized pink shrimp on it too, but i blinked and lost it. If you move the coral close to the glass you can take a photo through a magnifying glass. Works wonders.

You can get magnifying lenses that screw onto your regular SLR lens. They come in sets of 3 usually, each being a stronger magnification and you can join all 3 together as well. I think I got a cheap set at McBains for around $15 but that was awhile ago I'm not sure what they cost now.
