Default Cloudy water during plumbing test?

Just wondering what the deal is with this? In the tank I have 2 pieces of dry rock. It's live rock I bought a months ago and just boiled in a pot and left to dry for a few months. Lots of flow in the tank while I test things out. Tap water starts out crystal clear and over the course of a few days becomes cloudier. After a week you almost can't see through it down the 6-foot view.

Any ideas?

Weird, but maybe the tap water is cycling? Been a ling time since I cucled a FW tank, especially with Tap water. I cant remember if it got cloudy after a while?

BUT, if it holds water for a week, I think your safe to get some RO on the way

I wouldn't worry about it, probably a bacterial bloom from the organics left in the rock (yes, there will be some). I've had FW tanks get cloudy during the initial cycle, seems logical enough.
