white dots
i have a question about live rock /coral tank .i have had my tank going for just over 3 months and have noticed a ton of small white dots that move all over my glass .only livestock in tank is a foxface and bunch cleaner crew .anyone know what the dots are?

sounds like pods (amiphipods/copepods)
these are good and a sign of a healthy tank.

So these white spots are not a sign of overfeeding? I read somewhere that was the case, but I find I have to leave a little food in the tank as I have one timid eater that nibble once everyone else is done.
I looked at these white dots with a magnifying glass, and they look like a rolled up worm. Do they eventually turn in to something else? Thanks, jassz |

It sounds like they might also be Spirorbid Worms. But again, nothing to worry about. If they bother you, you can scrape them off the glass.
