frogspawn question

Ok barring the total epic fantasticness of this photo. I was just wondering. Is frogspawn supposed to look like this all of the time? I have a 3 headed one and I can never see the mouth, it just looks like a mop on a stick. Is this a special kind? Because if it is I'm gonna have to get me some

I see the mouths on my sometimes, In fact, one head is showing now. However, I understand the desire and coolness to see the mouths, but....mop on stick is good, no?...ie: full blown polyp extension.

Beats me but that pic sure looks funky even if they aren't "healthy"

I have one that looks just like that photo including the colors, and my other one which is right beside it looks "normal".
