![]() from what i could always find it works out in the $5-6 a pound range once it would ever get to your house so i think its better to just buy live rock when their is a good price to be found.
bulkreefsuply.com sells it but remember to add 35-40% onto the price for taxes and conversion

![]() J&L used to have a few boxes of it it was to the left of the door just bye the glass case for the expensive stuff! It was $50 for 50 pounds so it is much cheaper than live rock but it is very dense so it doesn't do the same job. it is good for aquascaping though. I put 50#s in my tank.
If you pay $5-6 for base rock how much is your live rock. ours isn't even that much

![]() I was at JL Aquatics in Burnaby yesturday trying to buy base rock too. They said that they are expecting a shipment of 18 boxes on Wednesday. However, she said to phone on Wednesday before coming out. Hope that helps.

![]() OOPS I should have said.. Make some it is super easy. I made about 150#s
for about $30. It takes about 4 months to cure though. http://saltaquarium.about.com/gi/dyn...ementRock.html
