Default Crab ID Please

Got this fellow as a hitch hiker on some acro. Purple back, orange sides, purple claws (big). In the sump until I ID him. Judging from the claws he's a baddie but I just want to check.

Thats where I found him. In the middle of an acro colony. Not exactly sure how smooth he is. Is he ok in my tank or is he destined to spend eternity in the sump.

Will, if it is an acro crab, it won't spend an eternity in your sump. When separated from their host colonies, they perish.

Looks like an Acro crab to me. I have several living in colonies throughout my tank.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the little fella will be going back in the acro. What's their relationship with the Acro. Do they keep it clean or what?
I checked the one he was in and there was no damage so that was good.

Yes, they eat any detrius that ends up on the acro.

Thanks for all the advice. The little fella looks happy as a clam in the middle of the colony. Nothing like having a built in janitor to keep things clean.
