I hear that. I recently purchased the 40D and I'm extremely pleased. I'm sure the 50D is amazing

the screen on the 50d is like 3 times the res as the 40 d . that and the extra 5 mega pixels.. (15+)which isnt a big deal.. but the screen is crazy.. pics look better on the back of the camera then on the computer..

I got one for Christmas and Love it as well. My tank looks like Crap so I haven't been posting pics but I just did in another post. (Don't want to highjack)
