![]() My wife dropped my camera the other day and with the lenses doing the flip flop on the inside I think it is time for a new one.
I can't afford a real expensive one (not with the hobbie I am in anyways) But would like to take some good pictures and maybe upgrade some lenses at a later date. Thanks in advance for your opinions. |

![]() I recently purchased a Canon G9. I was not wanting to spend thousands for DSLR however I wanted something that would give me a quality picture. Not knowing what your budget is, I would suggest a good look at the Canon G9.

![]() This photo was taken with my G9. I have only had the camera for a couple of weeks. It takes a bit of exploring to improve your pictures. I tried out a couple of camera from London Drugs and the 12.2MP and ability to shot in Raw makes a Hugh difference in the camera. The first picture was shot by my friend Renegade and his Nikon DSLR. ![]() Hi Keri
Theses are some of my first pictures with the Canon G9. They are mostly top down through an acrylic box. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The last one is just using the Aquarium setting through the front glass ![]() Tom R |

![]() Hi Keri
I am looking to step up to the Canon Rebel Xsi. London Drug will let try out the camera for 2 wks, I am at 6 weeks and they will allow me to upgrade to the Xis. The Aquarium and Underwater setting are ok for that quick shot but after a while you will want to get tighter settings. Tom R Last edited by Tom R; 06-13-2008 at 04:47 AM. |
